Timeless Tea Making Tips (1941)

Now for something completely different Darling......

  1. Oh ... if only we had this good training in America where water boiled in the morning is set on a warmer plate all day and then that luke warm fluid is poured over a teabag. One can just SEE the tea color not flowing from the leaves ... sigh. "Pot to the kettle, not kettle to the pot." They look stiff and I suppose they are but they care about the tea ... bless their hearts!

  2. If only Americans had similar training. Here we pour luke warm water (from a pot set on the coffee machine's warmer plate) over a little powdery teabag. You can actually SEE nothing happening to the tea in the water. Of course no one likes the stuff ... so they go back to coffee.

The people in this film are stiff and odd but ... they do care about tea. Bless their hearts.
