Defining Moment for Democratic Party Hacks

Obama's victory in Iowa was not only a defining moment for his campaign of hope and change but a defining moment for the party hacks, functionaries and the party's out of touch intelligencia. Many assumed that Hillary Clinton, the candidate favored and supported by the party establishment, would cake walk to the nomination. Obama's Iowa victory has upended that forgone conclusion.

"There something happening here what it is I'm not exactly sure". Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young
Certainly it not a done deal but it is a mighty first step towards generational change within the party. If Obama gains additional momentum by winning in New Hampshire and South Carolina the proposition that the Democratic Party is fundamentally changed will become more of a reality. It could not be a day too soon for me. So let us now see how it it plays out. Will Democrats and Independants embrace the new message of change or be ruled by fear of change or playing it safe?

I am in awe listening to the music of this man speaking.
